HIGHSIDER™ is Europe’s market leader for innovative lighting technology and high-quality motorcycle accessories. The HIGHSIDER™ development team is always working on setting new trends on the market. They are constantly on the road, riding and meeting with fellow motorcycle enthusiast to design and develop the innovative HIGHSIDER™ product line.
Our R&D team is leveraging state of the art technology and CAD software. Prototypes are manufactured on the latest 3D printers or CNC milling machines, tested for form and function, and inspected thru FEA simulation software. HIGHSIDER™ products are manufactured to the highest standards following German engineering principles for excellent functionality and fitment. The entire development, production and quality management process is subject to a management system certified according to DIN ISO 9001: 2015.
HIGHSIDER™ products are found on motorcycles around the globe to improve performance, safety or to simply customize the ride. They add that personal touch or characteristic you are after. With mirrors, lighting systems and accessories made of high-quality materials, HIGHSIDER™ products make your bike as unique as you are.

Product Development
Everything under one roof.
At HIGHSIDER™, our Product Development efforts are driving the success of our brand. We are making massive investments into our development team, process, and tools, resulting in an increased line of exciting new products. Our team is our biggest asset and they love to be out on the road on their bikes. We ride and we get it. That drives our efforts, every single day!

Our customers are our daily fuel for innovative product development.
— Volker Eisele, Head of Product Development at HIGHSIDER
Our Printers
Modern FDM and SLA 3D printers help us to create and evaluate prototypes rapidly. Additionally, we have modern CNC milling machines at our disposal. Those are used to produce prototypes from aluminum and other materials if required.

Our Software
Modern CAD software are a requirement for the development of innovative products. Therefore, HIGHSIDER™ relies on modern, integrated software packages. This enables us to design new products, CAM/CNC processing of CAD models, FEA simulation and the creation of photorealistic renderings.

The test procedure
With our FEA simulation software we check mechanically stressed components before they are manufactured as prototypes. This procedure enables the optimization of the components – still in the design phase – and guarantees a very high product safety for our customers. TUV and EC approvals are necessary for compliance but also speak volumes for the quality of the HIGHSIDER™ line.

We Are Testing Our Products On The Road
Prior to adding a new product to our line, HIGHSIDER™ is following a strict test procedure on the road. Before any new product is added to our range, the products are tested intensively leveraging out motorcycle fleet on the famous German Autobahn. Nothing beats a realistic test on the fastest highways on planet earth!

“Fortschritt statt Stillstand” – progress instead of stagnation
The possibility to create modern, photorealistic images from the CAD model supports the assessment of the design as well as our marketing efforts. This software module drives the evaluation process of new surfaces and finishes of new products. For example, it increased the decision process of the introduction of the new HIGHSIDER™ logo and the use of the black contrast cut finish – as shown here in the CONERO handlebar end mirror.
